Well, the child..aka Addy, is now two weeks old and I have to say is much cuter than she was when she was born. Don't get me wrong, she was cute then, but now she has the proper color, and has a little chub in her cheeks, which just makes her as cute as a little bug in a rug. (isn't that a saying?).
She now has the ability to focus on you, although i'm not certain she understands yet that i'm any different from anything else in the room (sofa, lights etc.) but i think that is going to come shortly. You can see in her eyes that she is thinking about stuff, and that's kinda exciting.
Becca is doing well too, and is looking terrific. She now easily fits into the pants I have stopped wearing because they squeeze me too tightly...and is well on her way to her old self again.
She's also up and about, and I think that is helping her sanity a bit. today was the first day she's been able to drive, and she took Addy for her 2 wk apt.
We snuck into costco for the first time as a family the other day...mostly to cost shop diapers...which are killing me now. Who knew someone so little could produce so much.....
Oh, Becca just texted me from the checkup. Addy is now 6 lb 2 oz. Hurray for Addy!
