Couples Tag

I saw this on my friend's blog. She said "Tag, you're it!" so I decided to take the challenge. Basically, it's my version of us as a couple. Brent may print a retraction, but of course, MY version is the correct one. So, here goes...

What are your middle names?
Nelson and Anne.

How long have you been together?
3 3/4 years. We've been married for 3 months, though.

How long did you know each other before you started dating?
About two weeks.

Who asked who out?
Uh, I got his attention and he suggested that we go out. It was very mutual, though.

Where was your first date?
We went bike riding across Bountiful Boulevard. Brent came over to my condo and tuned up my bike, which literally had cobwebs all over it. After that, he asked where I wanted to ride. I suggested Bountiful Boulevard because it's nice and flat right by the temple. He went driving and driving and we ended up in the hilly part. Needless to say, I was a little embarrassed about how out of shape I was. I kept pushing my bike up hills.

How old are each of you?
30 and 31. Now guess who is older...

Whose siblings do/did you see the most?
Geez, that's a toughie. I would say that we see his siblings more, but not by a lot. Maybe just a couple hours more a month?

Do you have any children together?
Nope.

What about pets?
Brent is allergic to cats and dogs. He claims to be allergic to fish, too. Just kidding! Maybe we'll get a family fish.

Did you go to the same school?
Never. We didn't even attend the same institute.

Are you from the same home town?
Nope. I'm a Bountiful girl; he's a Layton boy.

Who is the smartest?
I think each of us has our area of expertise. On the whole, I would say we are evenly matched.

Who is the most sensitive?
Brent is extremely sensitive to cold feet placed on his body, but I'm pretty sure that's what husbands are for. :)

Where do you eat out most as a couple?
I'm trying to think where we've been twice. We really try a bunch of different things all the time. We are trying to avoid chain restaurants, with the exception of McDonalds ONLY for their apple pie. Yummy!

Who does the cooking?
I'd say it's an even split, which is super nice.

Who is more social?
Um, depends on the day. We're both pretty outgoing.

Who is the neat-freak?
Probably me for the living room and bedroom. Brent's a neat-freak about the kitchen. No one claims the bathroom, unfortunately.

Who is the more stubborn?
Brent. He's not often stubborn, but I'd say he's a little more so than I am. Don't I make myself sound good? :)

Who hogs the bed?
We don't have a big enough bed to have anyone hog it. Everyone gasps when I tell them that we are sleeping on a full. Someday we'll move up to a queen. :)

Who wakes up earlier?
Brent--every single time. I really enjoy sleeping. :)

Who has the bigger family?
I do. I have two parents, six siblings (seven kids), one brother-in-law, and two nieces, which makes 11, not including us. Brent has two parents, three siblings (four kids), two brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, and a nephew, which makes 9, not including us.

Do you get flowers often?
No, but I got some for Valentine's Day. If I got them more often, they wouldn't be as special, though.

How do you spend the holidays?
Running between two families. Do you have a better suggestion?

Who is more jealous?
Um, my computer is jealous of Brent, but his phone is jealous of me.

How long did it take to get serious?
What a question! I was serious about the relationship from the get-go. Brent didn't get really serious until July 2009. We had a break-up that lasted a couple of months, but whenever we dated, it was serious.

Who does/did the laundry?
Both of us, but Brent does it more.

Which situation is the hardest on you as a couple?
Remodeling the condo. Having no carpet. Putting all my worldly possessions into the kitchen and bathroom. Having no doors in the condo (including the bathroom). Not being able to open the refrigerator because all my worldly possessions are in the kitchen. Being sick and having all the above.

Who’s better with the computer?
Brent. Makes you wonder why I'm blogging, doesn't it?

Who drives when you are together?
Mostly Brent, and I even let him drive my Mustang, once in a while. :) He doesn't often let me drive the Civic, though.

Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple?
Acapulco, Mexico. And believe you me, we had a blast!

Who has the worst temper?
Uh, again about even. We're very good about being calm for all sensitive discussions.
