Well, i figured it's time that i post something different for a change....all my prior posts have been about a little girl who has stolen our hearts, and now that she's a bit bigger, it's time to stop ONLY discussing her...maybe not, but still maybe time to add other things to the discussion.
Becca and I have been working on our OTHER love...remodeling. Yes, we've spent the last 3 months working on another project that we just wrapped up last night. Don't get me wrong, there are a couple odds/ends left, but nothing like we were dealing with before. I am so grateful to be done, both my girls were getting cranky so it was time to be done with it.
Becca got a new calling and while she's happy to have it, i think that it is going to be extremely difficult by it's very nature. She got called to be the relief society president in the ward. See, i'd warned her with her Sunday-school lessons that she needs to throw some false doctrine in there once in a while just to make sure something like this never happened. She didn't and i'm not sure if now is a good time to say "I told you so!!" or not.
So she's been working on that, and i've been spending evenings home-alone with the child. I think the child likes Becca more..but what can you expect?
I got tickets last year to the U2 concert that got canceled, and it's back on! We're heading over there this Tuesday. Should be a lot of fun, although It would have been BETTER if we didn't need to find a baby-sitter....and it was on, say a FRIDAY instead of a TUESDAY. I'm just say'n.....
